South Florida Men's Tennis Unveils 2026 Spring Schedule: A Season of Challenges and Marquee Matches
TAMPA, Fla. (December 16, 2025) – The University of South Florida men's tennis team has unveiled its 2026 spring schedule, promising an exciting and demanding season. The Bulls will face a diverse range of opponents, from non-conference powerhouses to conference rivals, all while showcasing their skills at the iconic USF Varsity Tennis Courts.
The regular season kicks off with a road trip, featuring a series of non-conference matches against prestigious programs. The Bulls will take on the likes of Florida, UCF, Washington (on a neutral site), Texas, UNC Wilmington, UC Santa Barbara, Pepperdine, and Miami. This early schedule sets the tone for a competitive season, providing valuable preparation for the upcoming conference play.
USF's home debut is set for early February, where they will welcome a strong lineup of opponents throughout the spring. The Bulls will host UCF, Georgia Southern, Stetson, Clemson, Middle Tennessee State, Rice, Florida Atlantic, Liberty, Harvard, Charlotte, FGCU, and UNF. The season will conclude with a road match at Tulane in New Orleans, adding a touch of travel to the schedule.
The American Athletic Conference postseason play commences on April 16–19 with the AAC Championship in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The Bulls will then advance to the NCAA Tournament, with the first and second rounds scheduled for May 14–17. All home matches will be held in Tampa, and admission is free, encouraging fans to cheer on their favorite players.
The USF Men's Tennis program is led by Head Coach Ashley Fisher, who enters his 10th year at the helm for the 2025-26 season. Coach Fisher has an impressive track record, having guided the Bulls to five NCAA Tournaments, including three second-round appearances. His leadership was recognized with the American Athletic Conference Coach of the Year award in 2017 and 2019, both years when USF claimed the conference title.
