Lake Bell, the talented actress behind the show's lead character, Barb, reveals the challenges of filming alongside her hilarious co-star, Tim Robinson. Imagine trying to keep a straight face when your on-screen husband is a master of chaos and comedy!

One particularly challenging scene involved the pair lying in bed, with Robinson improvising a single line. Bell recalls thinking, "We're just normal people in bed, trying to fall asleep."
However, Robinson's performance took a hilarious turn, with him going "bonkers," tossing and turning dramatically, and even wrapping himself up like a burrito. Bell admits she had to turn away from the camera to hide her laughter.
"Tim is a genius," Bell exclaims. "His unique brand of comedy is truly original. It's like he's a magic-maker, creating something special and unexpected."
Bell's admiration for Robinson's talent led her to audition for the role of Barb. She was drawn to the show's fresh and original tone, crafted by Robinson and co-creator Zach Kanin.
"I became obsessed with getting the part," she confesses.
